Khao KEOPHOUVANH joined SCL LAW OFFICES LIMITED in 2014 as an attorney at law. Before joining SCL LAW OFFICES LIMITED, he worked with the AFESIP (NGO) as a legal officer, where he was responsible for criminal cases.

Khao Keophouvanh is an associate lawyer for general legal and tax matters. His practice includes employment and labour law, advising on labour matters in Lao PDR and drafting internal work rules - both in Lao and English - for both foreign and Lao clients. He also conducts research on investment law for various clients. Moreover, he advises and represents both foreign and Lao clients to prepare all documents for setting up companies in Lao PDR, drafting contracts, agreements, translation certificates and related documents from English to Lao and Lao to English, as well as notarising such agreements/documents. Khao Keophouvanh also provides assistance in the process of securing loans and performing secure transactions; performs legal and tax due diligence; advises both foreign and Lao clients on tax and customs in Lao PDR; assists in preparing documents and contracts; and coordinates with the government on various matters, including for setting up branches of a commercial bank in Lao PDR.
